The
new led light is automatically controlled and independent from the
main lighting system. The light attracts the birds to the control pan
more easily and ensures that the feeding system control will operate
smoothly. No risk of feed remaining at the end sensors.

Windstreek
The
Windstreek broiler house with the patented BrooDy microclimate system is now one year in
operation. Wageningen University monitored
the farm for emission values and animal behaviour. The results will
be presented during the Poultry forum event at the Eurotier on 16/11 by Dr.
Bram Bos (WUR) & Geert-jan Camps (VDL). Meat processor Plukon Food group and leading Dutch retailer Ahold started branding the meat with separate
labels.
